Want to make a difference in the lives of young children while experiencing Morocco’s vibrant culture? Our Childcare Program in Morocco gives you the opportunity to support under-resourced kindergartens, nurseries, and daycare centres in local communities across the country.
As a volunteer, you’ll assist local staff in delivering fun, creative, and educational activities that stimulate development and provide much-needed care and attention to children aged 3–6. From helping with basic English lessons and story time to organising games, crafts, and music sessions, your presence will bring joy and structure to each child’s day.
Many of these children come from low-income families who cannot afford private childcare. By lending a hand, you’ll be helping to create a safe, nurturing space where young children can learn, play, and grow. Whether you're calming a restless toddler or teaching a group of kids how to count in English, your time will be filled with meaningful connections and rewarding challenges.

By volunteering on the Childcare Program, you’re not just filling a temporary role—you’re helping to create lasting change in the lives of young children and the communities that care for them. Many childcare centres in Morocco operate with limited resources, understaffed teams, and high numbers of children needing attention. Your support helps bridge this gap.
From the moment you greet the children each morning to the songs you sing or the stories you help tell, your presence brings structure, joy, and comfort to their day. You’ll help build their social skills, boost early language development, and encourage creativity in a way that leaves a lasting impression.
But your impact doesn’t stop there. Your cultural exchange opens minds—both theirs and yours. As you share your time, kindness, and ideas, you help foster an environment of openness, curiosity, and mutual respect. The memories you create will ripple beyond your time in Morocco, inspiring not just the children you care for, but also the families, staff, and fellow volunteers you meet along the way.
This isn’t just childcare—it’s change-making, heart-building work.

This community-driven initiative was created to connect passionate volunteers with local associations, daycares, and grassroots organisations across Morocco—in cities like Rabat, Salé, Casablanca, and Marrakech. It began as a way to support underfunded projects by matching them with individuals from around the world who want to make a difference while experiencing life in North Africa.
By working directly with local partners, this platform ensures that every volunteer placement is meaningful and well-supported. From early childhood centres to women’s empowerment initiatives, each collaboration focuses on real needs within the community and fosters long-term development through global exchange.
Mission & Vision
The mission is simple: to create authentic, impactful volunteer experiences that benefit both the local communities and the volunteers themselves. With a strong belief in cultural exchange and mutual learning, the platform offers flexible project options across various social and educational fields.
Volunteers are encouraged to immerse themselves in Moroccan life—whether through Arabic or French language classes, local excursions, or living with a host family—while making a tangible contribution to community wellbeing. The vision is a world where travel is more than sightseeing; it’s about connection, contribution, and shared growth.

Where You’ll Be – The Heart of Morocco’s Cultural Landscape
Your childcare placement will be based in one of Morocco’s vibrant cities—Rabat, Salé, Casablanca, or Marrakech. Each location offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern life, with colourful medinas, bustling souks, and a rich cultural heritage around every corner.
Rabat, the capital city, is a relaxed coastal hub with palm-lined boulevards and centuries-old architecture. Its neighbour, Salé, offers a more traditional, local experience just across the river. Casablanca—the country’s economic centre—buzzes with energy, while Marrakech stuns with its red city walls, winding alleyways, and iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
No matter where you’re placed, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, friendly community that values connection, tradition, and generosity. Your homestay accommodation will be close to your volunteer site, giving you a true taste of daily Moroccan life.
