Located in Escazu (San Jose) and Guanacaste Area (Playas del Coco beach), in Costa Rica. This is a family company that has been around since 2004 and enlisted the aid of hundreds of volunteers from all over the world, who help to work on the ecological and social projects they offer.

Social Projects
Daycare Centers in Escazú and Guanacaste:
These centers, part of the Costa Rican Health Ministry, provide essential nutrition and care for children at high social risk. You'll help feed and care for the children, teach various skills and languages, change diapers, provide technical training for handcrafts, and engage in activities such as cleaning rooms, washing dishes, and assisting in the kitchen. You'll also play with the children, teach Physical Education, and develop new activities.
Public Schools in the Escazú Area:
Located in a rural community, these schools have large classes with 35-40 children and no assistants for teachers. Volunteers are needed to assist English, Sports, and Arts teachers, or help in Science and Math classes if you know some Spanish. Projects include recycling, school maintenance, and garden embellishment. Volunteers stay with local families in private rooms.

Saving the Turtles on the Caribbean and Pacific Coasts:
Work with leatherback and green turtles throughout the year. Activities include night patrols, egg care, and community projects such as school vegetable gardens, composting, recycling, and beach cleaning. Enjoy nature's beauty in a safe and supportive community.
Animal Rescue Centers in Escazú, Turrucares, and Guácima:
Help give animals a second chance at life. Tasks include preparing food, feeding animals (monkeys, sloths, birds, etc.), cleaning enclosures, and creating toys and exercises for the animals. Volunteers live in basic but comfortable conditions with amenities such as electricity, flush toilets, unheated showers, and Wi-Fi. Enjoy communal meals and relax with fellow volunteers.
Living and Working Conditions
Costa Rica's warm and humid climate is complemented by shaded working areas. Volunteers stay in dorms with provided sheets and mosquito nets. Facilities include a pool, common area, book exchange, and hammocks. Meals include traditional Costa Rican food and international dishes, with vegetarian options available. Volunteers work 6-8 hours a day, five days a week, depending on project needs.
Saving the Turtles
General Information:
Located in various National Parks on the Nicoya Peninsula and Caribbean side of Costa Rica, this project involves:
Turtle hatchery protection
Day and night patrolling
Beach cleaning
Maintenance of the turtle nursery
Trail cleaning
Season: All year Minimum Duration: 1 week

Ecological projects volunteers will be staying in a rustic cabin share with other volunteers and include the 3 daily meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner, WIFI.
Social project Volunteers will be staying with a typical costa Rican family, here you are going to be able to live the "TICA" life, our volunteers find this experience as one of the best parts of their trip, since they get to connect and build a bond with the families, at the end when they leave, they find there selves with a family in Costa Rica. The volunteers will have at the house, their own bedroom with cable TV, internet, share bathroom, laundry facilities, and the 3 daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
The host families have been carefully selected to guarantee the volunteer will have the most exceptional of experiences. From the moment you get to the country, the volunteer becomes part of our "TICA" families. She or he will be involved in all the family activities, they will be oriented as to the places to visit or not to visit, and we will give them a map and complete information on the different bus services. The most important objective for us, is to make sure the volunteer will go back home feeling pleased for their contribution to the Costa Rican society and feel pleased with themselves for having done such an important volunteer work, and of course, fall in love with our beautiful COSTA RICA
