History
Our trusted partner in Puerto Inca, Peru, was founded to address educational inequalities faced by Amazonian communities, where access to quality English language learning has long been limited. Recognising the powerful link between language skills and future opportunities, they began delivering community-based programs that connect international volunteers with local schools and teachers.
Over the years, their work has expanded to include educational support, intercultural exchanges, and capacity-building workshops that strengthen the skills of local educators while inspiring students.
From its early days of offering grassroots literacy initiatives, the project has grown into a respected community hub for language learning, cultural awareness, and social inclusion. Today, they continue to play a vital role in empowering local youth to dream bigger and build brighter futures.
Mission & Vision
The mission of our partner is to create long-term, community-led educational change by empowering local children and youth with essential language skills and broader cultural understanding. By supporting English education, they aim to break down barriers to opportunity and help young people thrive in a globalising world.
Their vision is a future where every child in the Peruvian Amazon has access to quality learning opportunities that respect local culture while opening new doors — ultimately creating resilient, skilled, and confident individuals who can drive positive change in their communities.
