PADI Dive Master

The Divemaster certification (DM) places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than 2% of divers ever achieve this rating. The course will develop leadership skills and deepen your knowledge of diving.

  • Become a PADI Professional!

    The PADI Dive Master (DM) course consists of three basic sections:

    • Knowledge Development

    • Water Skills

    • Practical Application.

    PADI Knowledge Development consists of nine topics that are covered through independent study and discussions with your instructor.  Formal classroom discussions as well as informal one-on-one sessions assist students in clarifying any information needed. The PADI Water Skill section develops and evaluates overall water skills and improves existing dive skills. The PADI Practical Application consists of projects and workshops in applying the knowledge learned in real or simulated dive master situations.

    This course takes a minimum of a month to complete and longer if you wish to gain some experience in leading dives and practising your newfound knowledge and dive skills.

  • Students are required to hold all certifications including: PADI Open Water, Advanced, and Rescue certifications (or equivalent certifications from another dive training organization). 


    Before your arrival 

    You must complete the PADI Divemaster eLearning. 

  • This 4 week minimum master course ONLY:

    Dive Master Belize - €710

    Dive Master Madagascar - €645


    Please Note: This PADI Specialty requires the PADI online eLearning course: Dive Master.

    This must be completed prior to arrival, for only €415.

Both Divemaster programs are run by organizations that operate marine conservation volunteer programs, meaning that throughout their four-week training, participants will have countless opportunities to get involved in hands-on conservation activities. From coral restoration projects and marine species monitoring to underwater cleanups and community outreach initiatives, aspiring Divemasters will gain valuable experience beyond just diving skills. This immersive approach allows them to develop a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems while actively contributing to ocean conservation efforts, making their training both impactful and rewarding.
